FamiliarFace is designed to help people remember the names and faces of those around them. Your privacy matters to us, and we've built the app with that in mind. Here's exactly what happens with your data.
All information you add to FamiliarFace — names, photos, notes, tags, and settings — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers, because we don't have any.
Photos you take or add are stored in the app's private sandbox on your device. They are not accessible to other apps and are not sent anywhere.
FamiliarFace does not connect to any external servers. There are no accounts to create, no cloud databases, and no server-side processing of your information.
We do not collect analytics, usage data, crash reports, or any other information about how you use the app. There are no tracking pixels, no ad networks, and no telemetry of any kind.
We do not share, sell, or provide your data to any third parties. Period.
In a future update, we may add the option to sync your data across your own devices using iCloud. If we do, that data will be stored in your personal iCloud account, managed by Apple. We will never have access to it.
FamiliarFace offers an optional premium upgrade through Apple's App Store. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.
